Telemetry data, including logs, metrics, and traces, is straining enterprises’ resources as it grows into the exabyte territory. One company with a novel solution to the problem is Cribl, whose CEO and Co-founder, Clint Sharp, recently joined us on the Big Data Debrief.
Sharp started his IT career as a network and system admin before becoming director of application operations at Cricket Communications and Leap Wireless. After four years as a senior director of product management at Splunk, Sharp co-founded Cribl in 2017 with brothers Ledion and Dritan Bitincka with the goal of helping companies get a handle on the explosion of telemetry data.
